The Application Process

If you have never attended another college or university post-high school, follow these steps to complete the application process.

Step 1: Complete the Application

Fill out the free online application for general admissions.

Step 2: Submit Required Admissions Documents

Log back into your Lawson State Application portal to view the required admissions checklist items. These documents must be submitted to the Admissions & Enrollment Services Office to complete your general admissions process. Contact the Office of Admissions & Enrollment Services for questions.

Step 3: Submit Official Transcripts

Submit your final high school transcript by mail, ATTENTION: ADMISSIONS, or email to admissions@lawsonstate.edu .

If you earned your GED, follow these instructions for submitting your Report of Scores.

Step 4: Confirm Your Admission Status

    Conditional Acceptance : Students who have not submitted all required documentation will be admitted as conditional status. Failure to provide documentation by the end of the first semester will prevent a student from future registration and official transcript release. Required admissions documents can be viewed by logging back into your admissions application portal.
